Ray Yu Lee
Mr. Ray Yu Lee is a principal of Pouyuen Architects as well as firm’s Design Director to leading the direction and quality of design in the office.
He brings more than 30 years professional experience and has been involving all phase of various building type of design and construction in Taiwan and China. His experience includes high-rise office building, hotel and mixed use development as well as industrial facilities plant, hospital, academic building . His Elitegroup Building won 2006 Formosa 21 Architecture Award and Pouchen Headquarter and Yueyuen Garden Hotel received 2007 IESNA International illumination Design Award, He was involved in and in charge of some mixed use development projects like Chicony Square/Grand Hyatt Chengdu, Park Place/Puli hotel Chongqing and Langham Place Phase 1 Dalian in China for project design and construction management work after 2009.
Mr. Lee studied architecture at Chung Yuan Christian University in Taiwan and got Bachelor of Architecture degree and received Master of Architecture degree from Washington University in St. Louis. He had been worked in WZMH Group in Dallas, Moshe Safdie & Associates and Pei Cobb Freed & Partners in New York. After back to Taiwan, he worked in Fei & Chang and Associates in Taipei and later opened Pouyuen Architects & Associates under Pouchen Corporation in Taichung in 1997. The firm was disengaged with Pouchen in 2008 and involved in project management service in China since then.
Mr. Lee was NCARB member and is registered architect in Taiwan. He is a member of Taichung Architect Association.
